The Cafeorchestra performs a delightful mix of Gypsy & Jazz Standards

A four-piece acoustically electrifying band playing traditional gypsy and folk music with some originals and jazz standards in the bands own unique style

The Cafeorchestra is from Ayrshire Scotland and has performed at Celtic Connections,  the Callander Jazz festival, and have been invited back to play the main stage this year.

John Duffy leads the band. John is a brilliant bouzouki player and singer who also writes a lot of music he has played with various bands and musicians all over Europe.

Ian on guitar is heavily influenced by Django Reinhardt, his solos are brilliant. Karen Henderson on Fiddle is recognised as one of the finest fiddlers in the country with her husband Martin an excellent musician in his own right completing the quartet on Bass Guitar.

This is an entertaining and lively band that is as happy playing background, easy listening, or an up-tempo set for dancing!
