The Bag Rockers

The Bag Rockers  Bag Rock Band combines Scottish Bagpipes, Drummers, and a rock guitarist. This is traditional Scotland with a Modern twist!

Featuring ex-Red Hot Chilli Pipers frontman Gregor “G-man” James and 2 of the best young pipers in the Scottish trad music scene, the Bag Rockers, tongue-in-cheek performances are gaining them a reputation as one of the most entertaining acts on the corporate circuit.

Whether a Scottish or international audience, no one can resist the charm of the twist on Scottish tradition that “The Bag Rockers” offers.

They are currently a three-piece (guitar, 2 bagpipers with professionally produced backing tracks – the perfect size to provide minimum fuss or changeover at corporate events).

The Bag Rockers can offer 2 additional female dancers if required and a full showband is currently under construction, coming to a corporate event near you!

As well as the Red Hot Chilli Pipers Gregor also fronted the sensational Bags of Rock performing all over the world to capacity crowds in Italy, Germany, Ukraine and Malaysia. They played at the Klupfel and Folk AM Neckar festivals in Germany topping the German Charts twice with tracks from their first album, ‘The Next Level’.

They performed for two years at Stirling Castle’s Hogmanay Party, headlined Glasgow’s George Square Hogmanay and the o2 Academy, and rocked tens of thousands at festivals around the UK. They also performed for HRH Queen Elizabeth as part of the 2012 Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
