Talisker is a classically trained group of musicians widely acknowledged as one of the finest string Trio’s currently playing in Scotland and beyond.

A superb mix of Violin, Cello & Viola this highly talented group performs a set of light classics and standards with some pop and Scottish if required.

The trio is led by lead violinist Jane Ferguson who has been involved with WSSO (West of Scotland Schools Orchestra) activities since the early days. Jane is a violin tutor and Course Director for the symphony orchestra. She currently works as Head of Instrumental Services in East Dunbartonshire.

Talisker String Trio has performed with distinction in many countries including, Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria, Jordan, Kuwait, and cruised with Royal Caribbean, Cunard, and P&O Cruises. 

Closer to home the trio’s credits include;

Gleneagles, Turnberry, Compaq/HP, The Daily Record, Hilton Glasgow, Cameron House, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall,  the Crowne Plaza, the Armadillo. Marriott Hotels, Doubletree Dunblane Hilton  and Doubletree Hilton Glasgow Hotels  plus hundreds of Weddings, Concerts, Receptions, and Corporate Events
