The Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Band is a competitive Pipe band based in Stirling, Central Scotland.The Highland Bagpipe once a terrifying psychological instrument of war has now been harnessed into a joyful instrument that raises the spirits and brings a smile to the lips.

Today historic regimental marches blend with the songs of Robert Burns, Scotland’s most famous Poet as well as with tunes from modern day composers. For many The Highland Bagpipe is a celebration of all things great in Scottish history and culture.

The Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Band, formerly known as the City of Stirling Pipe Band, is a competitive pipe band based in Stirling, Scotland. The band plays a crucial role in the city’s celebrations and traditions, including parades and festivals.

The band’s history is intertwined with Stirling’s rich heritage. It participated in the city’s 900th anniversary celebrations, marking the grant of Royal Burgh status by King David I in 1124.

The band was prominently featured in the Stirling 900 celebrations, marching from Stirling Castle and through the city streets. They were also actively involved in other events and parades, contributing to the city’s cultural life.
