Manhattan Jazz Trio plays cool sophisticated jazz.

With smooth cool sounds, this Jazz trio is the perfect mix for easy listening music for cocktail parties, Garden Parties, receptions, restaurants, weddings, and product launches.

The trio combines bandleader Mike Daly on warm trumpet, Mike is one of the finest trumpeters in the country, John Fenner the brilliant Jazz guitarist ex Kenny Ball & His Jazzmen, and on double bass the excellent Roy Percy.

This trio line-up is excellent for unobtrusive background jazz during cocktails, wedding receptions, dinner jazz and, dancing. It provides a relaxed atmosphere allowing your guests to mingle and chat freely.

Manhattan trio’s repertoire consists largely of well-known ‘standards’ influenced by  Django Reinhardt, Count Basie, Fats Waller, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington.  The setlist includes songs from ‘The Great American Songbook’: from composers such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rogers & Hart, and Irving Berlin, and songs made famous by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday with some Bosa Nova tunes like Girl from Ipanema.
