Jackie Brambles is a former anchor of ITV’s Loose Women and former GMTV LA correspondent, Jackie is a perfect choice to host an awards ceremony, facilitate a conference or chair a debate. She is also a super speaker particular on the subject of reinventing oneself. An international broadcast journalist, she was BBC R1’s youngest ever and first female primetime presenter and her 28-year career spans radio and television across two continents on both commercial and BBC networks.

Jackie has reported on hurricanes, presidential elections and 9/11. She chatted to the Hollywood glitterati having hosted GMTV’s coverage of 6 Academy Awards not to mention countless red-carpet movie premieres as a long-time reporter in LA. Jackie spent five years in San Francisco where she was a PR & Media Training consultant to major tech companies in Silicon Valley, as well as anchoring the local CBS News on radio & television.

Jackie was born in Essex England and grew up in Ayrshire, Scotland; She also began her radio career on local radio station West Sound in Ayr when she was nineteen
She then joined Capital Radio as its youngest DJ, and after a year on the evening show joined the BBC in 1988 as the first female presenter to get her a prime time show on the national pop network BBC Radio 1
She took on the Radio 1 early show, initially at weekends, before graduating to the weekday equivalent. She also joined her colleagues on the Top of the Pops roster.
Jackie’s was the youngest ever DJ on BBC Radio 1, becoming their first female broadcaster with a daytime show.

Following her 11 years in the USA, she returned to the UK and became the anchor on ITV’s hit TV show “Loose Women” during its highest-rated and award-winning years.
Recently Jackie fronted the 4 part documentary series on financial fraud, Stopping Scotland’s Scammers for the second consecutive year, which was the highest-rated programme produced by STV in the last decade. Jackie also recently hosted BBC Scotland’s “Quay Sessions”, taking her back to her musical roots.
