Ian Boardley

Ian Boardley or “BOARDLEY” as he is widely known, is an MC, host and accomplished charity auctioneer for corporate and charity events. An enthusiastic, lively, confident and most gentlemanly frontman, he’s always at home whether it be on the catwalk of a fashion show, as the facilitator of a conference session, embracing the formality of an awards ceremony host, a quiz master, or as one of Scotland’s leading charity auctioneers.

With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality and events industry, Ian has worked with many charities and corporate organisations, delivering events both in Scotland and UK wide.

Ian brings to your event his energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, positivity, meticulous attention to detail and his wealth of knowledge and experience of event management. He has the versatility to adapt his style by injecting a measure of humour, cheek and charm as appropriate to get the best response from your audience. Ian has also delivered international roadshows, promotions and events. He has recorded voice-overs and presentations for corporate and charity clients. A family man with two grown-up daughters, he particularly enjoys the open countryside and Scotland’s great outdoors,  along with all of its associated pursuits.
