From that moment I was always singing George’s songs.
Coming from a very musical family, My father an accomplished pianist, graduate from the royal college in London, my brother a violinist, and my mother a soprano vocalist.
“Music was always in our family, it was 24/7”.
My singing carried me towards performing with bands. People would also ask me to sing ‘Careless Whisper’ and ‘A Different Corner’ at many local events, of course without any doubt I did.
I worked professionally on the circuits and tours in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma from 2009 until 2014 but still after all these years, never performing live any George Michael songs. This was finally about to change for me.
After singing George’s songs for many years I had never worked as a tribute to the star and wanted the opportunity to work with a live band. In 2017, I saw an advert for a George Michael theatre show and after auditioning I was offered the part. I toured with this production for 3 years, lived my dream of performing the songs of George Michael on a stage in a Theatre.
