Garry Alexander

Garry Alexander performs as a one-man ceilidh or with a three-piece band providing a mix of ceilidh and disco. The perfect entertainment for any occasion from a small village hall, hotel, tour party, wedding reception, or a ceilidh night.

Garry plays a Midi’d accordion creating a full ceilidh band sound. He is a born entertainer who loves to interact with his audience. A highly experienced entertainer he has performed at hundreds of ceilidhs and events all over Scotland the UK and abroad.

Garry knows how to please an audience and hold their attention by keeping the dance floor full by playing some of everyone’s favourite dances, including the Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow, Canadian Barn Dance, The Gay Gordons, Military Two Step, Pride of Earn and Highland Schottische to name only a few. Garry also takes requests and will tailor his setlist to suit his audience.

Even if you are a total beginner, or if you just need your memory refreshed, no worries, Garry is an expert Dance Caller and will lead you to step by step through each dance making it fun for everyone.

Garry is a  top DJ having played at hundreds of weddings and parties.  Hi disco is a perfect way to break up the ceilidh and gives your legs a rest from energetic ceilidh dancing changing the mood by playing great pop hits through the decades up to the present day. You also have the opportunity to request songs on the night or in advance.
