Eric Lovat

Eric Lovat, is a highly talented pianist with a repertoire of music to suit every occasion from an intimate dinner or wedding reception to corporate events and Restaurants.

His performances are easy on the ear and based on melodic lines and inventive chord voicing that is ideal for background music

He plays a range of music from popular classics, Jazz & swing standards, Rock, ballads, and big band.

Eric’s influences and playing style have evolved from listening to and performing classical piano through popular music, blues, and jazz standards. He was for many years band leader with the popular covers band  Atlantic Avenue.

Eric has played at numerous venues around the country as a solo pianist including resident at Cameron House in 2024. He was resident for many years in  Gleneagles Hotel, and has worked in the Hilton Glasgow, the Glasgow Grosvenor, Sheraton Grand,   Balmoral, Òran Mór,  Glasgow City Chambers, Crowne Plaza, Radisson Blu, Trump Turnberry, and Strathclyde University.

Eric comes immaculately dressed, fully self-contained with piano/keyboards and the finest sound equipment.

Apart from solo piano work  Eric teaches piano and enjoys playing with the excellent  Jazz trio Jazz Too!
