The Cleveden String Quartet is a well-established and highly renowned String group.They provide a bespoke service for a whole host of events including weddings, civil partnerships, champagne receptions, parties, private and corporate functions.
Based in Glasgow, but have played with great success around the country in East and West Dunbartonshire, North & South Lanarkshire, Ayrshire, the Lothians, Stirlingshire and Perthshire.
The members of the quartet are John Dunn, Anne Morgan (violins), Fiona Hamilton (viola) and Alison Downie (cello) Yvonne Bryson and Martin Morran also play with the quartet on occasion.
They have performed in a variety of fantastic venues from old farmhouses to Castles. They include Brig O Doon Hotel (Ayrshire) , Mount Greenan Hotel (Troon), Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow City Chambers, House for an Art Lover,The Old Registry Office at Park Circus , Hamilton Park Racecourse, Culcreoch Castle and the official opening of Mugdock Castle.
The Celveden Quartet has an extensive classical and popular repertoire which includes a Bollywood Selection from which we can tailor a programme to suit your special day
With a passion for their music and pride in delivering an excellent service to their clients Cleveden Strings are also happy to arrange /source any ‘special pieces’ that are not in their usual repertoire .
