Chick Young is a topical and funny after-dinner speaker and one of Scotland’s best-known TV and radio pundits.
Chick had a 35-year stretch of working on newspapers and magazines all too numerous to mention. Many are long gone and he is proud that he played his part in their demise.He admits that several of his early newspaper editors would be astonished at the number of journalistic awards which he has gathered along the way. But not half as much as me, he says.
Among his many talents Chic is also a popular event host, and auctioneer. Over the years he has hosted dozens of dinners, charity balls, and sporting events around Scotland.
