Her journalistic career soon after graduation from Edinburgh’s Napier University in 2003. Ca then moved to London where she worked as a journalist-producer on BBC Radio Five Live’s Breakfast show She also worked on the station’s ‘Drive’ ‘Midday News’ and ‘Weekend Breakfast show’. She presented the morning bulletins on BBC1 Scotland so didn’t have a long lie for nearly two years. She also hosted the lunchtime edition of Reporting Scotland once a week. Prior to TV news. Her first on-screen presenting job was the online video podcast for BBC Scotland called News Weekly.
The next move for Catriona was to Cardiff. She worked there as a producer across a wide range of light entertainment, lifestyle and music shows. She even presented a Saturday afternoon sports programme Sportstime.
