Andy Lucas is a popular pianist and singer with years of experience honing his talent in piano bars, restaurants and concert stages across the UK and Europe.
Andy has developed a laid back style that is unique and popular. He is based in Scotland and available for gigs/weddings/functions or session work anywhere in the UK.
Residencies: Current and former residencies include Gleneagles Hotel, The Corinthian Club (Glasgow), The Living Room (Edinburgh and Glasgow), Browns Bar and Brasserie (Glasgow), the Balmoral Hotel (Edinburgh), Dirty Martini in LeMonde – Edinburgh, The Granary in Leith, Fingers Piano Bar in Edinburgh, The Blue Dog, Urban Bar and Brasserie.
Andy has also entertained in Switzerland, Gran Canaria, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Germany and Ireland.
Session Work has included appearances on live TV and Radio. As part of Roddy Hart and the Lonesome Fire, and has played for some well-known artists, including Kris Kristofferson, Ricky Ross, Justin Currie (Del Amitri), Beth Orton, Eddi Reader, Dawes, Amy Helm, Lindi Ortega, Frank Reader from The Trashcan Sinatras, as well as supporting Sir Tom Jones, Ocean Colour Scene, 10cc, Amy Macdonald, Beverley Knight, The Proclaimers, Glasvegas, and Sir Paul McCartney’s son James.
Andy Lucas was part of the backing vocals for the film ‘Sunshine on Leith’ and appeared as part of the band playing live in the movie ‘Love me to Death’ starring Craig Ferguson and Kathie-Lee Gifford.
