Alika Sax

Alika Sax is a brilliant saxophonist born in Japan and has taken her unique saxophone performances to audiences all over the world appearing at festivals, clubs, bars, weddings, corporate events, and on TV with a host of DJs and bands.

She picked up her first saxophone at the age of 10. Since then, she is rarely seen without one in her hands. Alika was classically trained throughout her high school years before going on to study music at Nihon University, where she majored in saxophone. After graduating in 2010, Alika spent the next few years playing at bars and teaching saxophone in Tokyo. She has won multiple awards, including the Yamaha Shinjinsyo.

​In early 2017 Alika moved to Melbourne, Australia, where she planned to expand her musical experience. Alika has also lived in Los Angeles, Malta and in 2021  settled in Scotland.
