Judith Ralston Presenter and Event Host is one of the main weather presenters at BBC Scotland. Presenting the weather across all outlets on BBC Scotland Judith was recently voted one of the top three weather presenters in the UK' She also broadcasts extensively on radio. Regularly presenting Classic's Unwrapped on BBC Scotland. Originally from Edinburgh, Judith trained as a musician and studied singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, the Royal Northern College of Music. As a professional Opera singer she performed all over the UK and Europe. Her singing career ended prematurely when her voice collapsed. In 1999, she returned to Scotland for a new career as a travel Reporter for BBC Scotland then moved into weather presenting. She then began to present the weather on BBC Scotland's flagship news programme Reporting Scotland. She is now one of the main faces of BBC Scotland's weather and longest standing member of the team Judith has been a guest presenter or contributed to a whole host of other BBC Television and radio programmes, including, Landward, The Big Freeze, the Andrew Marr show, Off the Ball, John Beattie, the Fred Macaulay show, Children in Need, Comic Relief, Midsummer, Grace Notes and Sportscene. Judith is a terrific 'people person' and her strengths lie in hosting Corporate Events, Award ceremonies, Charity Balls and Presentations.
