Dakota is also available as a three piece with the very talented Jim! If the size of your venue and budget allows, the band adds a third player. Jim is a very talented musician with years of experience on the circuit with various bands. With Dakota, he steps in and compliments the line up playing guitar/bass.
The band has played at the following venues with great success.
Ayr Racecourse, Western House Hotel, Lochside House Hotel, Savoy Park Hotel The Renfrew Ferry, Twa Dugs, Dumfries Arms Hotel, Carlton Hotel, Royal Hotel
29, Marriot, Glasgow, Fenwick Hotel, The Boswell, Gailes Hotel, Boturich Castle
Piersland House, Tudor, Airdrie, Seamill Hydro, Hilton Dunkeld, Perth, Easterbrook
Hall, Dumfries and many many more!
If you want a band to fill your dance floor then look no further than Dakota. Elaine and Andy combine great musicianship, superb vocals and an understanding of giving the customers what they want, and the end result is some stonking good music that people just want to dance to. I have booked many, many bands to play after racing at Ayr Racecourse and Dakota are right up there with the very best. Easy to deal with, they come in and set up, return to play the gig and keep the crowd happy. Their range of songs span many decades but it’s their ability to adjust their set to suit the audience that makes them a cut above your average band. I strongly recommend Dakota.
Iain Ferguson, Head of PR, Ayr Racecourse.
