She has also performed with great success in Belgium, America and Canada and supported stars like Sophie Ellis Bextor and Joe McElderry.

Barbara brings flexibility and versatility to each performance with a huge range of material ranging from ballads, pop and country to rock and soul.

In 2007 Barbara hit our Television screens when she entered the ITV hit programme the X FACTOR. Singing the Barbara Streisand classic  “Somewhere” Louis Walsh said of Barbara “you remind me of a young Bette Midler / Barbara Streisand”

Sharon and Danni both said “we LOVE you” Simon Cowell said “That was a musical up yours” referring to Barbara’s recent split from her then husband.

Barbara entered the Voice hoping she would get picked for team Tom Jones. Her wish came true when Sir Tom heard her belt out her version of “Wild Horses”.
Tom Jones said “I have worked with Aretha Franklin and Barbara has a voice every bit as strong as hers”.

A few weeks later Barbara was pitched against the eventual winner Leanne Mitchell.

The” battle” as it was called was to be the highlight of the entire series. The girls sang an incredible version of the Lady Gaga hit “Edge of Glory” the audience went wild and the judges gave them a standing ovation. Unfortunately she lost out to Leanne who went on to win the entire competition!

Barbara has become a huge hit with the public and has over five hundred thousand hits on you tube!

Her new Album Wild Horses has now been released and Barbara is looking forward to building on her success.
