Book the Marco Cafolla Trio

The Marco Cafolla trio have been playing together for 5 years, as a result, the band evolved into a musical jazz trio that strive to perform well-arranged, accessible jazz with dynamics, texture and tone as opposed to heavy, muso-jazz with an emphasis on the players alone.

All three members are graduates of the B.A. Honours Applied Music course at Strathclyde University and have extensive experience of various genres outside jazz such as rock, tech-metal, funk/fusion and prog!

Major influences for the trio include Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, Vince Guaraldi and Miles Davis to name a few. The trio have played for all occasions from wedding receptions to Jazz festival spots. The line-up is Piano, Bass Guitar & Drumkit (other instruments can be added for different occasions – Saxophone, Trumpet etc).

The Marco Cafolla trio play every Wednesday night in the Bluedog Cocktail Bar (West George St, Glasgow) from 11pm.
