Book Singer and Flautist Lisa Martin

Lisa Martin Singer and Flautist Born in Wirral, near Liverpool, Lisa began performing at an early age, training in music, dance and drama, while appearing in children's variety shows at New Brighton's Floral Pavilion theatre and the Royal Empire in Liverpool. Lisa's professional singing career began soon after, when she moved to London to join function band 'Wonderland' as lead vocalist.

After 2 years singing at hotels, weddings and corporate events, she joined the revue cast as principle singer onboard Miami based ship Discovery Sun, sailing around the Bahamas and Florida area.

On completion of her contract, Lisa returned to her native town on the Wirral where she spent some time studying music. During this time she teamed up with local songwriters to write and perform her own original material (a selection of which can be heard at www.broadjam.com/lisam). Lisa's music generated much record company interest, giving her the opportunity to work with some leading producers and musicians.

Lisa then returned to cruising again, this time with top party band 'Jet Set'. The band lived up to their name, first performing at the Radisson SAS hotel in Oman, then jetting across the Atlantic to perform onboard prestigious Holland America cruise liners, visiting such exotic places as Hawaii, Acapulco and Jamaica.

A change of temperature was soon on the cards however, as Lisa headed up north to Scandinavia to perform her favourite kind of music - smooth jazz classics. 2008 saw Lisa touring worldwide as headline cabaret entertainer for P&O cruises. Currently based in Scotland, this versatile and experienced performer continues to present her acclaimed cabaret show at home and abroad.
