Ian is one of the foremost concert harp and clarsach (celtic harp) players in Scotland.

A graduate in music Ian has performed at some of the most prestigious international conferences to come to Glasgow in recent years including American Society of Travel Agents, Walt Disney World Co.- Kelvingrove Art Gallery, British Airways, Abbey National and Rotary International.

He has worked as resident Harper in the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh for five years and Cameron’s restaurant, Glasgow Hilton for three years and is first choice for Glasgow City Chambers.

Ian is the leader of the well- known Scottish trio Harpbeat, superb Scottish trio performing melodic and classic Scottish tunes Comprising Harp /Clarsach, Flute and Fiddle

Ian wears traditional dress of kilt, shirt and tie for all corporate functions and weddings.
