Allestri - Band for Hire
Allestri - String Trio or Quartet
The Allestri String Quartet was formed in 2005 and is based in Scotland. The members of the quartet have played individually with many of the British symphony orchestras including the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
Morag Swietlicki leads the quartet and after gaining her degree in Music Performance and Postgraduate Certificate in Orchestral Studies from the RSAMD has gone on to have a very successful and accomplished career as a freelance orchestral violinist.
This versatile group has played for weddings at many of the Scottish castles including Torosay Castle on the Isle of Mull and Eilean Donan Castle which was made famous by the film 'Highlander'. Other engagements undertaken by members of the quartet include entertainment for 1st class guests aboard Cunard's QE2, and also performed at the Cannes Film Festival.
As well as providing beautiful music for your religious or civil wedding ceremony the quartet can also play background music during your champagne reception and wedding meal.
The Allestri String Quartet will create an elegant and entertaining atmosphere whatever your occasion may be, and to make your day even more memorable the quartet can accommodate requests and perform an arrangement of a song that is particularly meaningful to you.

Their extensive repertoire includes classical, jazz, film themes, Scottish folk arrangements, songs from the musicals, and pop hits.
