Reel Fling

The Reel Fling is a professional three piece ceilidh band that perform all over Scotland and offer an entire evening of fun filled entertainment.

Our normal line up consists of two accordions and drummer, and to keep you in step we have a caller that can talk you and your guests through each dance.

Incorporated into the evening is a disco section made up from your own playlist or from our own wide selection of songs.

Last Tram tae Auchenshuggle

Last Tram Tae Auchenshuggle are one of the most popular bands on the ceilidh scene and have built their reputation over the last few years through playing at many festivals and functions both in Scotland and overseas. They are a highly talented, up-tempo ceilidh band.

Last Tram Tae Auchenshuggle are twice World Ceilidh Band Champions. They Play for all functions including large corporate events and weddings, most notably the weddings of Supermodel, Kirsty Hume and Four Weddings and a Funeral star, John Hannah.

Last Tram play mainly for ceilidhs although they do play for concerts, with different arrangements of material more suited to a concert setting. The band’s accordion player, Davie Morrison, is also the band’s caller (That is – the guy who does all the talking, insults guests indiscriminately and teaches the dances). He can talk people through all the dances so that nobody attending any of their ceilidhs will feel left out. His humorous, tongue-in-cheek approach to this is an integral ingredient of the Last Tram’s performance.

Deoch n' Dorus

Deoch 'n' Dorus will provide a traditional, yet original Scottish ceilidh sound to make sure that you have a great night of dancing!

Gallus

Gallus – is an exciting, original rock/ceilidh band.

With Gallus' approach to traditional folk melodies played beautifully on the electric violin, electric guitar and electric bass backed by superb percussion, the music they create is both breathtaking and unique.

They guarantee to have audiences on their feet in seconds and have transformed some classic folk tunes, giving them a new lease of life, fusing folk with rock.

The Big Shoogle

If Carlsberg made ceilidh bands, they probably wouldn’t be as exciting as The Big Shoogle!

The Big Shoogle is an up tempo Scottish Ceilidh Band with strong influences from celtic, ceilidh, cajun, zydeco, rockabilly, swing & rock, all added together and shoogled.... !

The band play swingy traditional Scottish and Irish ceilidh tunes in their own inimitable style, and will call all the dances for guests who may be unfamiliar with them.

So, even if you are dance-lexic (!) and can’t tell the difference between a Dashing White Sergeant and a haggis supper, The Big Shoogle will have you birling around the floor like an expert!

This is all done in an informal and humourous way. You KNOW when you’ve been Shoogled!

Oran Mor

Oran Mor is a Ceilidh band from Troon, Ayrshire in the South West of Scotland, and ran by its leader and accordionist Roy Hendrie.

Roy is a former British Champion who has established Oran Mor as one of the country's top dance bands. Whether its your Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary, or Party, Oran Mor can provide a dance band of various sizes ( from 2 to 6 piece ) to meet your needs and budget.

Roy has broadcast solo and with his band on numerous occasions with BBC Radio Scotland's "Take the Floor" dance programme and a live TV broadcast on BBC1's "MOD" programme.
