The band you hire, be it a dance band, show-group or disco, can ensure that your event is a success. The band you choose to hire will play such an important part in the enjoyment of your guests so it is critical that you make the right choices and get the best advice and the best choice of bands available to hire. Neil Drover and his team can arrange band hire for a whole range of events from balls, dinner dances, conferences, weddings (see also our wedding band hire pages) to theme nights, open days, corporate events (See also our corporate event planning page) and christmas parties throughout Scotland.
We are here to guide you through the entertainment hire maze and see you on your way to a successful event. Just give us a description of your event, the date, venue, and the number of people attending along with the style of music you want the band to play and we will do the rest. Within the shortest possible time we will provide you with a full profile of the best bands, groups and discos to hire for your specific event.

Ashley & Co
Ashley & Co are fronted by the phenomenal Ashley McCullagh. They are a 4 piece band with all the qualities of a top show group. Excellent musicians, full backing, live instrumentation, lights and PA and an exceptional lead vocalist.
Covers include hits from the Supremes, Girls Aloud, Pink, Sugababes, Shania Twain, The Corrs and Abba as well as classics from Journey and A-Ha, all performed with an electric atmosphere which will get any crowd going.

Athens
Book Athens for your Event
Athens are an exciting and versatile live band who inject fun and great music into any event, they are the ideal choice for wedding receptions, corporate events, charity functions and private parties!
Formed over 10 years ago by 4 exceptional musicians the band are highly experienced and have played a wide range of functions performing at venues such as the EICC, Corn Exchange, Assembly Rooms and Caledonian and Sheraton hotels. They also play regularly at the Jam House in Edinburgh. Previous clients include Standard Life, Ikea, City of Edinburgh Council and Hibernian FC.

Atlantic Avenue
Atlantic Avenue is a superb Scottish based dance band featuring two fantastic girl singers.
Over the years the individual members of this band have built up a tremendous amount of experience working with bands like “the Sensational Alex Harvey Band”, Salvation, Strangeways, Guy Mitchell and have extensive recording radio and television experience.
The band performs a superb mix of music to suit a wide range of tastes including medleys from the Beatles, Abba, Tamla Motown, Elvis, the Pointer Sisters, Seventies Classics, and a selection of classic pop songs of the past ten years.

Atlantic Soul
Atlantic Soul is a soul, Motown and disco showband. They perform the whole spectrum of 
dance music from the 50’s through to present day chart hits as well as soul, Motown and disco classics.
They have earned the reputation as one of the most exciting female-fronted showbands in Scotland with powerful vocalists (including both male and female), a superb 4 piece rhythm section and live brass with a female sax player. Atlantic Soul will adapt the size of band to suit the occasion and venue.

Big Vern 'n The Shootahs
BIG VERN ‘N’ THE SHOOTAHS
Big Vern 'n' The Shootahs are a rockin' nine piece soul band from Glasgow, Scotland playing well known covers with the twist of a soul/funk vibe.
We don't take ourselves too seriously which certainly comes across in our live shows - we are not shy - some would say 'in-yer-face' - all accomplished musicians collectively having fun and gettin' on with it - we aim to please and don't miss and hit the wall - we strive to be live and love the vibe that an audience enjoying themselves throws back at us.......if you simply want a 'live jukebox' then you should really be looking elsewhere......but, if you are looking for a band to set your event on fire then... Big Vern are your boys.

Bluesette
The popular duo Bluesette is available for all types of functions
from weddings, dinner dances, corporate events and
background music.
Bluesette can produce a highly versatile repertoire of material to suit the clients needs and come completely self contained with lighting and PA.
Bluesette are also available as an instrumental duo and their breadth of material means that the band can perform as a specialist swing/easy listening act for certain functions as well as a standard function act.

Boogie Hook-up
Boogie Hook-Up are a six-piece rock, soul and pop covers band comprising of male and female vocal harmonies, guitars, keys, saxophone, bass and drums.
The band is a fresh and exciting, new act from the Falkirk area. They are all talented and versatile musicians who have the professionalism and enthusiasm to guarantee a night to remember.
They perform an extensive range of songs from a variety of genres, including music from every decade since the 50’s and will even include a great Scottish Ceilidh set when required.

Campbell Considine
Campbell Considine sings great songs and plays a hot piano with his trio CC3.
They offer a unique interpretation of classic songs from the "Great American Songbook" with romantic ballads, swinging songs and toe-tapping jazz for corporate or private events...
Enjoy an evening to remember every time with CC3 (the short-form name for the Campbell Considine Trio) comprising piano, double bass and drums with Campbell as always on vocals.
