The Soul Kings

Soul
and Tamala Motown ..
The Soul Kings is one of
the most exciting new acts to appear for many years.
Capturing perfectly the greatest hits of the Tamala
Motown and Disco era the Soul Kings combine dynamic
vocals with slick dance routines, smart suits, big Afro
hair, shades and a lot of attitude. This is real
entertainment with the emphasis on fun.
The Soul Kings have deliberately dug out the crowd
pleasers combing them in a set that includes Get Ready,
December 63, Stayin Alive, Carwash, Sweet Soul Music,
Love Train, Celebration, Disco Inferno, Oh What A Night
and Billy Ocean’s Love Really Hurts, setting their
audience alight and gaining a new fan base and rave
revues wherever they perform.
The Soul Kings had have had a remarkable couple of years
supporting Rose Royce and The Silencers. Scotland on
Sunday featured them in a double page spread.
Other credits include performances at the Millennium
Party–Stirling Castle, Radio Forth’s Christmas party,
Motorola’s Christmas party, Hampden Park Football
Stadium, hosted the Big Party in Stirling’s King St, the
Glasgow Hogmanay Party and have been resident Christmas
band at Glasgow Hilton 2000,2001,2002
Each member of the Soul Kings is a top musician in his
own right and have played with the Bluebells, The
Proclaimers and the sensational seventies band The Gods
of Glam.
The Soul Kings-Truly the ultimate party band.
