Collectively Hip Operation have many years of high-profile experience in the music and entertainment industry; you can rest assured that you are dealing with professionals. The line up of leading regional musicians lends itself to creating a strong visual image as well as a substantial audio presence.
Among the thousands of UK and International gigs they have played are weddings for major sporting stars, awards ceremonies and key corporate events such as the Coronation Street 25th Anniversary, and appearances on the same bill as many household names in the entertainment world.
The band performs at major corporate events such as award ceremonies, post conference parties, charity balls. The band's versatility and sheer energy create a truly great centrepiece for any private party or wedding.
Hip Operation cover a wide range of music from artists such as Otis Redding, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Frank Sinatra and Tom Jones to name but a few.
The band carry state of the art sound reinforcement and a full lighting rig to suit all venues. Drum risers and back drops are also supplied.
Members of the band can also provide dinner/cocktail music as a Jazz trio or a four piece ensemble, playing music to suit every occasion. The band can also supply DJ music in the breaks (at no extra cost) as we have a collection of pre recorded CD's. We can also supply a DJ to compere the whole event.
We firmly believe that the quality of the entertainment defines the character and ultimate success of any function. It is also the hardest thing to get right unless you have a wealth of technical knowledge and the breadth of experience to know what will, and just as importantly, what won’t work on the night.
The band believe that behaviour off stage is as important as on, so reliability and punctuality come high on our list of priorities.
